Frequently asked questions

Q1. Most Spanish bricks have holes running through them, how can you inject?

A1. We don't inject the bricks as we would with a typical UK style, we inject the mortar line or into the foundation.

Q2. How long does it take to complete the whole process?

A2. It would depend on what is required and the size of the property, but in general a week.

Q3. How long before the walls are dry and ready for decoration?

A3. The walls can take months to dry out completely, however when we re-plaster the internal walls we mix in with the new plaster a water proof membrane, this allows the walls to be painted on the inside, but also lets the walls dry out naturally from the outside.

Q4. Do you have to re plaster the whole wall?

A4. No, only as high as the damp has affected the walls, normally no higher than a metre, but it depends on how long the walls have been affected and the state of the old plaster.
